I wear many hats here: home cook, photographer, recipe developer, and overall content creator. But let me share the story that brought me to this delicious adventure.
It all started with my daughter, who was a picky eater with allergies. One day, she decided that all she wanted was plain bread—literally slices straight from the bag! As a mom determined to provide the best for her, I faced countless dinnertime battles and tearful endings. Finally, I decided to stop fighting and give her what she wanted to eat but it was going to be the best darn bread she could eat!
I spent a fortune on "healthy" breads from stores until I realized—I could do this myself, and perhaps even better! So, I dove headfirst into the world of homemade goodness. With a newfound passion, I began researching gut health, GMOs, and the shocking truths of the food industry. That's when I made a decision: no more compromises. I shifted to sustainable living, whole food cooking, and crafting DIY staples and meals from scratch.
Fast forward to today, and I'm proudly making almost everything I used to buy at the store—conveniently, easily, and healthily myself. And the best part? My daughter now eats most things and has zero allergies!
Inspired by an aunt's culinary magic, I've been cooking since the age of nine and am a self-taught home cook.
My goal? To share recipes that not only make your taste buds dance but also become family favourites.
